Delightful visitors
Who doesn't love having someone drop by who delights you with their presence then leaves a pleasant vibe behind. That happens a lot around here, which is why I'm into my fourth decade. Two women from a town on the Alberta-Saskatchewan border stopped by the other day. They are on their way to becoming potters and had such open hearts and minds, soaking up the details of a humble backyard pottery. They could write a book, or at least a pamphlet, on how to visit a working studio. Thanks for your participation in a great afternoon, Lois and Deb from Lloyd.

ReplyDeleteYou have been on our minds constantly since our visit in April. Just tonight, I found your blog address as I was framing the picture you sent with us of the store in Kitscoty, 100 years old! Our friend is opening her antique store this week and I wanted to have the picture ready for her to display!
We so appreciate the time you spent with us at your studio. You have greatly influenced our work since we returned and been the topic of many converstations with our fellow potters! It is nice to see the photos on your blog as our description of your work does not do it justice!
We hope to return for another visit, maybe in November, with more Guild members in tow!
